Tangram Flex, a company that works to re-engineer & safeguard software that is embedded in complex hardware systems (think self-driving cars) spun out of computer science R&D giant Galois in February 2018. Before the year was out, Brian Powell had grown his one-man office to 20 people, and the company had successfully raised $4.5M.
