Rob Anderson has more than 20 years of experience working in the public sector, most notably in planning and development. 

Prior to being hired as the City Manager of Fairborn, Ohio, Rob held the position of Economic Development Director for the City of Fairborn where he helped position Fairborn for the economic growth the city is experiencing today. 

Rob has also served other municipal positions in Ohio, including Director of Development for the City of Clayton, City Planner in Kettering, and City Manager in Vandalia.  

Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Public Administration degree from Wright State University.
